Tatiana PodolinskaInstitute of Ethnology Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia

Tatiana is the director of the Institute of Ethnology (SAS) and assistant professor at the Department of comparative religious studies (Comenius University). Her career includes having been a visiting professor at the University of Oslo (Norway), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), UNAM (Mexico) and Honors College at Missouri State University in Springfield (USA).

As a researcher she is focused on contemporary religiosity and spirituality. She has participated in 5FP EU, 6FP EU and international research projects related to religion (Mexico, Guatemala). In 2002 she was a member of the international project on Roma religiosity in Slovakia (God sees everything, 2003). In 2010 she was the main coordinator of national project Social inclusion of Romanies in Slovakia via religious path. Currently, the publications God between the barriers (2011) and Religion as a Path to Change (2012) as a result from this project was published out. She is the author of more than 70 articles and scientific studies in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
